Markel had her babies!!

I've been waiting a while for these babies... Ever since the bigining of the week I was thinking she would have them. Turns out last night when I was showing people bunnies, she started to pull fur and get ready to have them. Went out at 9:30 and they were all born and in the nest.

Counted 7, 2/3 solids and the rest brokens. Im thinking the solids with be harlies(magpies or japs).

For a first time mom she seems to be doing very well! Lets hope she keeps it up!

Update on the lionheads and Holland lops.

So, these bunnies have made exellent progress in the past little while and grew up to be great bunnies! There selling fast, and although I was planning on keeping two I have decided to let them go to a pet home with a family.

Baily did an amazing job raising most of the litter, and only loosing a few to the wire on the cold nights.

She had one really nice, meaby even showable Broken chestnut buck who left for his new home tonight.

She also raised a beautiful, also possibly showable Opal doe!

And last but not least, she raised a impressive black doe!

Lexi, my lionhead doe raised all of her babies. She had a little bit of trouble handling them all but she didnt loose one!

All of her babies were very popular and sold right away!

My favorite was the tri colour buck.

She also raised three, relativley simular babies.... I only got pictures of two(pictures thanks to Annette)

So, hats off to these two does!!!! Im very happy with them!

More mice born!

This is my altime favorite breed but I feel I need to move around and rotate. I think its good for me. I love these rabbits fur and am re-homing some really nice rabbits.

Lexi's Babies are here!

A few hours after bailey had hers Lexi decided to have hers as well. She was in the nest when i found them, they werent coverd up real well so i got some fur from another doe to help out.

At this point there are four in the nest, although she may decide to have more. From my quick glance looks like a few brokens.

I will keep an eye out for the single and double manes.

Kindled December 22nd.
